How it works:
The venturi system isn’t magic despite its simplicity and all it’s obvious advantages. The water that’s fed at high pressure to the suction head generates a huge vacuum at the sludge pump’s suction aperture. This can extract liquids together with sediment at high speed over heights of up to 8 metres.
Application:
The sludge pump easily removes dirt, sand, algae, sludge and even stones up to a diameter of 20mm.
Performance:
The pump simply connects to a pressure washer. Depending on the system pressure used, high-pressure nozzle and water flow rate (at least 80 bar for 71/m), the pump’s suction capacity can br adjusted from approx. 8,000 to 18,000 litres an hour.
Advantages:
The sludge pump is particulary suitable for removing water from basements, gulleys, construction sites or ponds. Its tremendous flexibility also makes it ideal for emptying poorly accessible tanks or catch basins with small inspection openings.
